Ashes of Creation, GDC plans and Content Update

We are currently getting ready for GDC (Game Developers Conference) in San Francisco this March. We will be showing a slice of our current pre-alpha progress at the Unreal Engine booth, doing some recruiting and getting caught up on what everyone has been doing this last year.

We’ve been hard at work at Intrepid Studios making the revolutionary MMORPG, Ashes of Creation. In the six months since our Kickstarter wrapped, we’ve already moved into public testing with our Friends and Family Alpha Zero test. Alpha Zero was primarily a test of our custom networking and back-end solutions, and we’ve made some massive improvements as a result of it. We allowed IGN access to the Alpha Zero test, so if you didn’t get an opportunity to log in, you can see their news article here.
We have also updated the Pre-Order store on the website with our March cosmetics. Our store offers 4 unique and limited packages, which grant access to our Alpha and Beta phases.  Each month these packages change, offering a limited time cosmetic set. These cosmetics will change every month on the 2nd all the way up until launch.  If you own a previous month’s package or are a Kickstarter or summer backer, you are able to add these cosmetics as add-ons.
